About Us

Pack 850 is a Cub Scout unit based at Town Center Elementary in Coppell, TX. As part of Scouting America (formerly Boy Scouts of America), we welcome boys and girls in grades K-5 to join our pack. The pack is organized into small groups called ‘Dens’ by grade level. Through fun activities, time outdoors, and community service, our scouts build friendships, develop leadership skills, and learn to make a positive impact in their community.

Scouting America’s Mission

The mission of Scouting America is to prepare young people to make ethical and moral choices over their lifetimes by instilling in them the values of the Scout Oath and Law.

At Pack 850, our mission is to help Coppell youth build lasting friendships while developing leadership skills, a love for nature, and community—all while having fun!

Scout Law

A Scout is trustworthy, loyal, helpful, friendly, courteous, kind, obedient, cheerful, thrifty, brave, clean, and reverent.

Scout Oath

On my honor I will do my best to do my duty to God and my country and to obey the Scout Law; to help other people at all times; to keep myself physically strong, mentally awake and morally straight.
