Here are some of our Annual Events we look forward to every year!
Popcorn Sales
Fall kicks off our fundraiser activity: Popcorn sales! Scouts can sell door-to-door, online, or at one of our market events. Popcorn sales help fund our activities for the year.
Fall Camp Out
Fun for the whole family! Each Fall, scouts and their families are invited to participate in a weekend campout. These weekends are packed full with events and students can even work towards Adventure belt loops and Adventure pins.
City Holiday Parade
Typically during the first week of December, scouts come together to decorate a float and walk the Coppell Holiday Parade.
Derby Car Racing
This is one of the most anticipated events of the year! Scouts create a derby car from a kit, decorate it, and race them on a track. Scouts are exposed to wood working, physics, and the joy of competition.
Blue and Gold
This is our big banquet of the year. It coincides with scouting’s birthday and is a wonderful way to celebrate our oldest pack members, Arrow of Light, heading off to the next stage of scouting.
Spring Camp Out
Our second camp out of the year is during Spring. Scout families are invited to spend the weekend outdoors earning Adventure belt loops and Adventure pins while gaining useful outdoorsman skills.
Crossover Ceremony
Scouts cross a bridge symbolizing their graduation into the next Den level.
4th Of July Parade
Scouts participate in the city wide 4th of July parade. We get decked out in our Class B uniforms and red, white, and blue decorations!
Summer Pool Party
At the end of the season, we all cool off with a Summer Pool Party at the Core in Coppell.
